Collective art, Pompidou Center and Palais de Tokyo

  

 

Last week, on March 28, the Pompidou Centre opened an exhibition with the title: Chagall, Lissitzky, Malévitch: L’avant-Garde Russe à Vítebsk (1918-1922). The exhibit revolves around a revolutionary art school, Vitebsk Fine Arts School, and three key figures in the elaboration of their new artistic education and collaborative creativity: Marc Chagall, the institution’s founder, and two artists that Chagall invites as professors: El Lissitzky and Kazimir Malevich, creator of Suprematism. Works of the three painters, with works by other students and teachers of the school are exposed, while the Russian avant-garde is explored, especially the creation and development of Suprematism and the UNOVIS group (Followers of the New Art, by its initials in Russian).

La scorsa settimana, il 28 marzo, il centro Pompidou ha aperto un’esposizione intitolata Chagall, Lissitzky, Malévitch: L’avant-Garde Russe à Vítebsk (1918-1922). L’esposizione si concentra su una scuola di arte rivoluzionaria, la Scuola di Arte di Vítebsk, e tre artisti cruciali per l’elaborazione della sua nuova educazione artistica e creatività collettiva: Marc Chagall, il fondatore dell’istituzione, e due artisti che Chagall invita come professori: El Lissitzky e Kamir Malévich, creatore del Suprematismo. Le opere dei tre pittori – più altre di studenti e altri maestri della scuola – sono esposte mentre si esplora l’avant-garde russo, in particolare la creazione e lo sviluppo del Suprematismo e del gruppo UNOVIS (I campioni della nuova arte, tradotto dal russo).

La semana pasada, el 28 de marzo, el Centro Pompidou, abrió una exhibición tituladaChagall, Lissitzky, Malévitch: L’avant-Garde Russe à Vítebsk (1918-1922). La exhibición se enfoca en una escuela de arte revolucionaria, la Escuela de Arte de Vítebsk, y tres artistas cruciales para la elaboración de su nueva educación artística y creatividad colectiva: Marc Chagall, el fundador de la institución, y dos artistas que Chagall invita como profesores a la institución: El Lissitzky y Kazimir Malevich, creador del Suprematismo. Obras de los tres pintores, más otras de estudiantes y otros maestros de la escuela, están expuestas, mientras se explora el avant garde ruso, en especial la creación y desarrollo del Suprematismo y el grupo UNOVIS (Forjadores del nuevo arte, por sus siglas en ruso).
